My name is Jonathan and this is my blog.

I am a web developer for Lightsky Interactive, where I write code for everything from shopping carts to school system intranets. It’s very rewarding, but it’s the coworkers make the job, really. You would not believe the amount of joy I have just being at work with these people

When I’m not working, I enjoy autocrossing with several groups. It’s a whole lotta fun, even though I drive a Camry and not a sports car. It’s fortunate that autocross is more about the driver than the car — I’ve placed in the top five for my class (STS and HS) the past three years (admittedly, some of that due to consistency in attendance.)

I listen to wide variety of music. I wouldn’t exactly call myself a music maven, but I do have an ecclectic range of styles that I enjoy. Currently the core is electronic, but I do branch into entirely accoustic and have an affinity for completely choral pieces. Put another way, I’m a Computer Scientist who was once offered a vocal scholarship.

I also enjoy enjoy photography an awful lot. Lately I’ve been trying to perfect my technique at taking photos that are either pretty or interesting. Hopefully both.

Lastly, I’m one to whom a wide list of unlikely things has happened. I think that this, more than anything, defines me.
