On Christmas Eve I asked Nicole to marry me. She said, “Yes.”
At the time I couldn’t afford an engagement ring, so I used the ring she got me on our one year anniversary. A couple days later we went to Kay Jewelers to look at rings, found out about financing, and picked up a very pretty one with a sapphire for her.
Walked around the mall a little and she kept saying she wanted to get me an engagement ring, so we went back and got a ring for me.
Sorry this is a little short and lacking on details — I just woke up and need to get to work, but I’ve been lagging behind on the whole blog thing, lately. Wanted to get this up on the internets.
Hooray.

Congratulations! They look great. I like sapphire. Your dad gave me a lindy star sapphire.
