Testing out video editing using a free Ubuntu program called “Kino”. It’s pretty sweet.

One important note: if Kino playback is very choppy, you may need to specify /dev/dsp in the audio device section.

I have a crappy, 10 year old sound card in this box — it’s not well supported in ANY operating system other than Win98 first edition, but it gets the job done (Turtle Beach Montego II).
