Got a video camera through a Black Friday deal from Best Buy. Suckas stood outside in the cold, not knowing you could get the same deal the day before online. Free shipping, too!

Anyway, this is me trying out the whole rip through firewire, etc.

It’s a Panasonic GS850. Not super awesome, but for $150 it’s nice. Shoots 16:9 natively, uses miniDV tapes, has a firewire port. Only thing I’d really like is better image stabilization, a USB 2 port, and the ability to charge the battery with the camera still plugged in. Aside from that, it’s nice.
