Reasons to love Black Samurai

• The bad guy is a warlock
• Who is an equal opportunity employer, hiring almost no caucasians for the goon position
• Some of these goons are little people
• Some of them are sort of Bantu tribesmen, replete in leopard skins
• I think the main number 2 goon is supposed to be gay
• The protagonist is sort of a jerk. Example: defeats a bad guy by deliberately (and in a somewhat extended manner) breaking his back. He then utters the parting line, “Sucka! Now you’ll never walk again!”
• He also tends to go for the crotch shots to take out his opponents
• It’s always day and night in this movie. Simultaneously.
• Up is down. Which is also up. A fight that descends to the basement will then proceed out an archway onto the roof.
• I’ll reiterate: He fights little people.

So there you go. I’d recommend the film, but it’s actually very tiring to watch. The fight scenes aren’t that great, the story isn’t very engaging, and the acting is sort of awful.

The movie “The Black Samurai” has everything you could ever want in a film: kung-fu, midgets, a mariachi band, a vulture, a jet-pack, a sassy black woman, cool sound effects, a car-chase, and random explosions. PLUS: A gay devil-worshiping badguy, a secret agent organization, a fire-spouting pen, snakes, afros, a scene where the good guy kills tons of badguys with a grenade because he’s tired…and with SEX APPEAL! The only thing lacking in this movie is gratuitous gore and nudity! Wow what a feature!
