Masquerade Sans Masq

My name is Jonathan and this is my blog.

I am a father, husband, and software engineer. This site is one of many iterations dating back to approximately 1996. First it was a crappy website with too many terrible backgrounds and midi music. Then it was a “Thought of the Moment” mailing list with a web-based front-end, then it was a live journal account, and now it’s a blog. The only constants are:

  1. It’s still crappy
  2. the content is semi-random
  3. I tend to pick domain names which, in retrospect, make me sound like a pr0n site.

If you know what a blog is, then you know what to expect — however, I’ll amend the list above and state that lately I’m trying to write longer-form journal entries such as The Emotron and Love in the Time of Golden Books. But I still reserve the right to post pictures of babies and cats.

Feel free to contact me if you have any comments, suggestions, accolades, or just want to chat. I’m a nice guy.
