Hot Chip – ‘I Feel Better’, Lost, and Deities

Hot Chip – ‘I Feel Better’, Lost, and Deities:

From a conversation with my wife.

Me: You know what I really like the most about Lost right now? the deity figures are kind of inscrutable. The good guy is kind of bad for the humans, but in a different way from th ebad guy
Me: the bad guy is more directly bad, the good guy is indirectly bad — possibly
Me: it’s more like real deities
Wife: yeah, I like that too
Me: heh, it was the Hot Chip video that made me think of that
Wife: more like roman or norse deities
Me: the guy in white is kind of bad, but maybe good? the floating head is kind of bad, but maybe he’s actually good and clearing out all the bad guys
Me: you don’t know!

I have been messing moving my feed to feedburner. I apologize if this has caused your reader to go nuts. Here’s a picture of Morgan Freeman to compensate you for your time.

Self-destruction

Others may look at my behavior as self-destructive; but they only see it as such because it would be self-destructive to them.

I may look back on my past behavior and see it as self-destructive; but only because it would seem destructive to who I am at that moment.

My behavior may actually be self-destructive at any given point; however, at the same time as being destructive, it is also creative.

Sometimes you have to behave self-destructively in order to create the person you need to be.
