Missing comments

Email me if you’ve posted a comment and it hasn’t gone through. I just discovered that my own account was blacklisted from my blog. I may need to uninstall this blacklist and install something else. I need something, though — I get between 5 and 80 spam comments a day…

Ubuntu first impressions

Pros: Clean interface. Seems logically oriented from a user perspective. A lot of the menu bloat is gone. Installation was super easy. Repartitioning was super plus good, didn’t destroy my Windows partition, and in fact automounted that on my desktop. Linux wireless woes

Over last night and this morning, I lost around 6 hours of my life trying to get my wireless card working under Ubuntu 6.06 Linux. This post is in case someone else has similar problems with their Broadcom 4318 card and Linux (on a Dell Inspiron 2200).
