I toook Winter in to get spayed, today. She’s been in heat three or four times in the past two months, so I figured it was time.
Just called the vet to see how she was doing… turns out my cat is kind of a mutant! I already knew about the weird toes growing out of her toes (kind of look like elongated calluses). However, it seems that additionallly her internal organs weren’t quite in the configuration the vet was expecting. Made things a little difficult.
It’s sort of interesting to have a vet tell you that “things weren’t arranged as expected.”
Also, she had an ovarian cyst, which explains why she was in heat so much.
Figures I’d pick the weird cat.
