I’ve noticed something in the past couple months. Literally every week for quite some time I’ve seen ads for Law and Order, CSI, ER, and others in which the voiceover says something like, “a new episode, ripped from the headlines”, “in a stunning new show, ripped from the headlines”, and such.
Just so you’re aware, when they say, “ripped from the headlines”, that means the writers were too lazy to come up with original material.
