A new neighbor has apparently been giving MY apartment number as HIS apartment number. I started receiving his bank statements last week. I tried paying my electric bill today and discovered the payment stub had HIS name on it, with my address.
Called the electric co this morning to find that they index on the address and not account number; SO… since this Mr. Fitzgerald gave my apartment number, the electric company thinks I no longer live at my address and the aforementioned Fitzgerald does, now.
I have no idea whose electricity I’m supposed to pay for, whose electricity is accounted for on this bill, and who’s going to get disconnected when I set the utilities straight, today.
