All Dogs Go to Heaven 2 isn’t nearly as good as the first one. Went to Pizza Hut the other night and saw they had a big ol’ stack of DVDs they were just giving away, so I took one. Finally got around to watching it.
Sad, cause I didn’t look closely and thought it was the first one. Oh well, thought I’d give the second one a go… 30 minutes in I realized I was forcing myself to watch it just because I had it, so I stopped. I mean, it’s not like I payed for it or anything. I could toss it in the trash and not have lost anything. Aside from those 30 precious minutes of my life.
Grar… bad movie.
Too much singing.
Plot holes.
Continuity problems.
Boring.
I do, however, enjoy the fact that Ernest Borgnine (of Airwolf fame) played one of the characters. Tangentially, whenever I hear the name “Ernest Borgnine”, I instantly recall the punchline to a George Carlin joke that went something like, “who stole my naked pictures of Ernest Borgnine????”
Anyway, is it sad that I saw the first All Dogs Go to Heaven in the theater?
